Rashtriya Meghvansh Mahasabha....और राष्ट्रीय मेघवंश महासभा का कारवाँ निकल पड़ा

राष्ट्रीय मेघवंश महासभा, दिल्ली का एक विशाल सेमिनार 26 दिसंबर 2010 को मेघगंगा सामुदायिक भवन, बनीपार्क, जयपुर में संपन्न हुआ जिसमें राजस्थान के अनेक जिलों से सैंकड़ों की संख्या में कार्यकर्ता पहुँचे. गुजरात, मध्यप्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, जम्मू-कश्मीर, पंजाब, हरियाणा  आदि प्रांतों से भी बड़ी संख्या में लोग आए. सेमिनार के मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. योगेंद्र मकवाना (पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री) तथा सभापति श्री कैलाश मेघवाल ((पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री) थे. महासभा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष गोपाल डेनवाल ने विजय की प्रतीक तलवार श्री कैलाश मेघवाल को भेंट की.

इस सभा को पूर्व सांसद सुश्री जमना बारूपाल, सर्वश्री आर.पी सिंह, गिरधारी लाल कटारिया, दिनेश सांडिला के अतिरिक्त अन्य प्रतिनिधियों ने भी संबोधित किया. शिक्षा और संगठन पर जोर दिया गया. सर्व मेघवंशी समाज ने श्री डेनवाल को राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष स्वीकार किया. इस अवसर पर एक नए समाचार-पत्र 'दर्द की आवाज़' का विमोचन भी किया गया.

  1. thank you sir. apne jo blog liki vo baut hi achi ha or meghwl samaj ke har ek candidate ke liye parerna.agar hum sabhi megh wansi isi tarah se ek sath hokar chale to hum bhi kisi se kam nahi ha...
    agar is tarah ke seminar vagerah hoe rahenge to hamari bhi ek nai pahachan ban jayegi..........

  6. there are chandervansi, suryabansi and a latest product called agnikul race. do you know to which category the meghvansi belongs? uniqueness in habits and character is found from all deviated names of this largest community of the world.

  7. @ Anonymous (24-02-2011)- What I have read so far reveals that Meghvanshis identify themselves with Suryavansh to which Ram belonged. If there is any latest product called Agnikul it may be of interest for the people. Please give some more information on it. Thanks for the visit.

  10. Meetings and Seminars are necessary but the point is how to make them productive . I have seen and heard that many times mouth fighting start on many trivial issues in these meetings. So to ensure the productivity of these meetings and seminars is the duty of learned people of the community. They should bear this responsibility.
    About Agnivanshi , their are agnivanshi rajputs who are of scnthyian/hun origin .There coronation was done on mount abu by the brahmins and they used them against Buddhism.
    Doing yagnas and all similar sort of activities provide psychological motivation to the brahmins , it sparks the mind to do the new things something like jihaad.
    Meghvanshis is certainly very different from suryavansh or for that matter any other so called kshatriya vansh.

    Although Babasaheb rejected AIT in Who were Shudras , but in the sequel of this book i.e. Who were untouchables and how they became untouchables , he said that " If there were any different races in the Ancient India then they were only two , one was Aryans and other one was Nagavanshis " .

    I have read that Rajputs are Mulnivasis of this land and were Meghvanshis. Later they formed their team with Brahmins and protected them. They have also been divided into Suryavanshi, Chandravanshi, Agnikul etc. It was done as per the convenience of Brahmins of that time.

    Rajput is not a Homogeneous community . Many Scholars including Babasaheb have said that Agnivanshi Rajputs are remnants of Huns who invaded India , brahmins raised them to the level of kshatriyas to suppress Buddhism.But certainly some clans like chandels and rathores are indegenous.
    But that is of no use because you can never convince them that they are indigenous and have something to do with Mulnivasis and there is no reason for them to get convinced because they are already enjoying good status in BSO.

    One more important fact I would like to point that this Heterogeneity among Rajputs is the main reason why they were never united and fighted with each other and invaders exploited this fact.

    Assuming it was not a fabrication,[f37] how can it justify the recognition of Shivaji's claim to be a Kshatriya? Far from establishing that Shivaji was a Kshatriya, the geneology could do no more than raise another question, namely, whether the Sisodiyas were Kshatriyas. The Sisodiyas were Rajputs. There is considerable doubt as to whether the Rajputs are the descendants of the original Kshatriyas who formed the second Varna of the ancient Indo-Aryan community. One view is that they are foreigners, remnants of the Huns who invaded India and established themselves in Rajputana and whom the Brahmins raised to the status of Kshatriyas with the object of using them as means to suppress Buddhism in Central India by a special ceremony before the sacred fire and who were therefore known as the Agnikul Kshatriyas. This view has the support of many erudite scholars who are entitled to speak on the subject. Vincent Smith says :[f38]
    In this place I want to draw attention to the fact, long suspected and now established by good evidence that the foreign immigrants into Rajputana and the upper Gangetic valley were not utterly destroyed in the course of their wars with the native princes. Many of course perished but many survived and were mixed in the general population of which no inconsiderable part is formed by their descendants. These foreigners like their fore-runners the Sakas and the Yue-chi universally yielded to the wonderful assimilative power of Hinduism and rapidly became Hinduised. Clans or families which succeeded in winning chieftainships were admitted readily into the frame of Hindu polity as Kshatriyas or Rajputs and there is no doubt that the Parihars and many other famous Rajput clans of the north were developed out of the barbarian hordes which poured into India during the fifth and sixth centuries. The rank and file of the. strangers became Gujars and the castes ranking lower than Rajputs in their precedence. Further to the south, various indigenous or aboriginal tribes and clans underwent the same process of Hinduised social promotion in vinue of which Gonds, Bhars, Kharwas and so forth emerged as Chandels, Rathors, Gaharwars and other well-known Rajput clans duly equipped with pedigree reaching back to the sun ANd the moon.

    Recent research has thrown much light on the origin of Rajputs. A wide gulf lies between the Vedic Kshatriyas and the Rajputs of mediaeval times which it is now impossible to bridge. It is now certain that the origin of many clans dates from the Saka or Kushan invasions of more certainly from that of the White Huns who destroyed the Gupta empire about 480 A.D. The Gujar tribe connected with the latter people adopted Hinduism and their leaders formed the main stock from which the higher Rajput families sprang. When these new claimants to princely honour accepted the faith and the institution of Brahmanism the attempt would naturally be made to connect them with the heroes of the Mahabharata and the Ramayana. Hence arose the body of legend recorded in these annals by which a fabulous origin from the sun and the moon was ascribed to these Rajput families ... The group denoted by the name Kshatriya or Rajput depended on status rather than on descent and it was therefore possible for foreigners to be introduced into these tribes without any violation of the prejudices of caste, which was then only partially developed. But it was necessary to disguise this admission of foreigners under a convenient fiction. Hence arose the legend how by a solemn act of purification or initiation under the superintendence of the ancient Vedic Rishis, fire—born septs were created to help the Brahmins in repressing Buddhism and other heresies. This privilege was confined to four septs known as Agnikula or fire-born-viz., the Parmar, Parihar, Chalukya and Chauhan.
    Dr. D. R. Bhandarkar[f40] also holds the same view. According to him, the Rjaputs are the descendents of Gujars, the Gujars were foreigners and that the Rajputs are therefore the descendants of foreigners.

  15. ........... The Brahmins engaged for the coronation could not have been ignorant of the origin of the Rajputs, and their claim to be descended from the Kshatriyas. But assuming that they did not know this fact they knew that there was already a previous decision of the Brahmins, namely, that there were no Kshatriyas in the Kali age. This was an old, long-standing decision. And if the Brahmins had respect for precedent, they were bound to throw out the claim of Sisodiyas as well as of Shivaji. Nobody would have blamed them, if they had done so. But the Brahmins had never accepted the law of precedent as binding upon them. With them there was no such thing as stare decisis.
